What Is PRP? This is how Doctor Lubna describes it .

PRP is a state of the art, completely closed system technology to prepare auto – logous platelet rich plasma by using patient’s own blood.

Although blood is mainly a liquid (called plasma), it also contains small solid components (red cells, white cells, and platelets.) The platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood. However, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors which are very important in the healing of injuries.

PRP is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in blood. The concentration of platelets — and, thereby, the concentration of growth factors — can be 5 to 10 times greater (or richer) than usual.

To develop a PRP preparation, blood must first be drawn from a patient. The platelets are separated from other blood cells and their concentration is increased during a process called centrifugation. Then the increased concentration of platelets is combined with the remaining blood.

PRP is commonly used for the treatment of

  • Reducing hair-loss
  • Encouraging new hair growth
  • Skin Regeneration

Benefits of Prizmah Include :

PRP Offers high concentration of platelets within plasma with almost no RBCs & WBCs for desired aesthetic results.

Boots production of Hyaluronic acid, Collagen and elastin

Built-in technology to convert PRP into PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin). PRF offers Sustained release of growth factors from platelets for a longer period of time and provides longer lasting effects.

Minimum pain at the injection are due to neutral pH of PRF.

Prizmah offers completely sterile kit & closed system i.e . no exposure of external environment in PRP preparation & collection .

Easy To use Take less time , requires less blood and is not user dependent like other system .

IS PRP FOR ME?

PRP has been used successfully in other medical and surgical disciplines for many years. The decision to use PRP is a personal decision and should be made after careful research, consideration and consultation with a physician. PRP is safe and natural because the procedure concentrates the good cells from your scalp and injects them directly back into the area where it is needed. There is absolutely no chance of getting a blood infection from another human being. PRP involves using your own cells that are not modified or changed, and it will not be rejected by your immune system.
